The Novelist

The Novelist is an exciting video game whose graphics receive constant comparisons with those of XIII, although the first title mentioned has a greater background and is more fun in every sense.

The mechanics move away from the current genres that have a great popularity, giving rise to a kind of graphic adventure whose protagonist is Dan Kaplan. This novelist tries to translate his ideas into a very successful literary work, but spending so many hours writing can end up undermining relationships with family members and other relevant characters.

Your mission is to prevent Dan from leaving aside what really matters without affecting the final quality of the novel. Everything that happens in the summer house can be observed by you, having the possibility to act when you deem it appropriate. So, your role is much more important than that of a mere spectator. The behavior of each character in The Novelist will change depending on the decisions made by you, so it is essential that you think carefully about the consequences of them.
